Time for a change?!

So I have tried to be active on my blog for months and I have never really got into it :( 

I never felt like I had good content and I was never happy with the way my blog 

looked :(

I feel like its time for a change.

I will be doing more personal and unique posts other than just beauty :) So expect more diys and photos and personal experiences!

Real Techniques Review!♡

Real Techniques, is probably the most popular drugstore makeup brush brand! Personally I love the quality of the brushes and think they are amazing! I have two of their brushes (I know not many ahhhh) I have the expert face brush and the shading brush!
I use the expert face brush to blend I my foundation and my concealer and  I love it! It's such a soft brush and blends my makeup really evenly on my face. The hairs of the brushes don't fall out and they are really good quality. They are also really great prices the expert face brush is on £9.99 and I use it every single day!
I use the shading brush for eye shadow, and its amazing, it fits perfectly on my eyelids and I use this on a regular basis. The shading brush is only £6.99 and its definelty worth it!  The Real Techniques brushes look really nice too! The base brushes are golden and the eye brushes are purple. They really stand out on my dresser and  I love that!

I really want to try some more Real Techniques especially the core collection and the eye starter kit! I definelty recommend these brushes if you are starting out in makeup, or just want to buy some more fabulous quality brushes!

5 Quick Tips About Makeup!♡

Hey guys so today I'm going to be giving you 10 quick tips about makeup!

1. Always pick the right shade of concealer and foundation, you can ask the shop assistants and they will help you pick the shade that suits you best, there is nothing worse than looking orange!
2. If you find an amazing makeup product stock up on it! You never know when something could be discontinued, if you find your perfect concealer or holy grail mascara buy 1-2 backups!
3. Never ever sleep without taking your makeup off! It will cause problems with your skin, makeup can clog pores and cause spots. Even if you are wearing primer its best to take off your makeup.
4. Don't be afraid to splurge on makeup / skincare products. Obviously we don't all have the budget to be buying tons of M.A.C, Nars and Urban Decay makeup but if you save up your own money, then treat yourself! Don't feel bad about buying a few high end makeup products every now and then!
5. Lastly, don't go overboard! Sometimes with makeup less is more. If you are wear a dark lip then maybe opt for a natural subtle eye look, or vice versa!

Benefit Posie Balm Review!♡

Hi everyone today I have another makeup review! Today I'm going to be talking about the Benefit Posie Balm! Me and my best friend decided to buy this product together, we went into my local boots store and bought it from the benefit counter. As soon as I got home I immediately put it on. It is extremely moisturising on my lips, and really makes them feel hydrated. As it is a lip balm not a lipstick it only gives a sheer amount of colour on my lips. I love the colour it gives though! It is a baby doll pinky peachy colour, and I absolutely love it! The pigmentation is amazing for a lip balm and it is definitely worth the price! I have to say I thought the Posie Balm was going to be very expensive as Benefit is know for having great quality products (which come at a price!) But I was pleasantly surprised. The lip balms were only £14.50 each, and they came with a lot of product in the tube.

Sleek Blush Review♡

So I have never written a blog post before but I decided I would give it a go. So I'm going to be reviewing the Sleek blush in the shade flushed. I got this as a Christmas present from my friend Alabama (MissMollyBeautie on YouTube) and I absolutely love it! The pigmentation is amazing and it is such a beautiful deep red colour with a slight shimmer running through it. Its definitely a blush that I would wear in the autumn and winter instead of the spring and summer, because it is a darker colour. I have included some swatches to show the amazing pigmentation. I definitely recommend the sleek blushes as they are only around five or six pounds (I think!) and the packaging is really compact so its easy to put in your makeup bag. They also come with a big mirror which is always handy.
